Our Practice and Vision

We believe in the family unit as being a fundamental structure for human development and growth, serving as the bedrock of a successful and healthy society.

Healthy individuals make up and are the intrinsic part of a healthy and thriving community.

Children in particular are the jewels—the pearl of great price—of our Planet Earth. As such, their health and development is at the highest of our priorities. Thus, we tailor our work with our clients based upon these principles and values.

As the Founder of Succour Empowering Equality Counselling (iSEEu), Elizabeth is a Person-Centred Therapist, licensed in the UK with 9+ years of professional experience, working one-to-one with children, young people and adults from diverse backgrounds with vast range of circumstances and issues. Elizabeth’s training includes Play Therapy and working with Metaphor, along with experience in addiction support, including alcohol and substance abuse.

With extensive experience in multi-professional collaboration with various organisations and schools, Elizabeth adopts a multidisciplinary approach in her practice, supporting clients as they grow in autonomy and reach their potential. As a woman of faith, Elizabeth also works with people of all faiths, including cultural and traditional beliefs and background.

At iSEEu Counselling, our core vision is to see you, the individual, as a whole, considering all aspects of your life to provide you with sustainable support. Our approach is grounded in the belief that the body, mind, and spirit are deeply interconnected. By providing the nervous system with layers of internal resources, we aim to foster a holistic sense of balance and peace within our clients.

We empower our clients to self-regulate and resource themselves not only during sessions but also in between them, and even in times when they might not be in therapy. This self-empowerment is achieved through various evidence-based modalities, including the Person-centred model, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Trauma-focused therapy, and Play Therapy, among others. Our goal is to equip you with the tools and skills to thrive throughout your life, not just for a moment.

This holistic layered approach helps ensure that our clients find enduring stability and resilience, enabling them to navigate life's challenges with confidence and grace.

Our unwavering passion for supporting individuals, families, children, and young people has driven us to pursue continual professional development. This includes completing training in Motor Neuron Disease, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, and Neurodiversity, among others, as well as becoming certified in Adoption Support Counselling.

At iSEEu Counselling, we are dedicated to ongoing development to better support our clients and society at large.
